It was opened in 2013-04-04.
Participated in the opening the Turkish President Abdullah Gul and the Minister of Culture of Lithuanian Republic Sarunas Birutis.
The building of PI „Islamic Culture and Education Center“ was acquired and equiped from funds of the Turkish Republic institutions and organizations.
